Staying at Monte do Alamo was like finding a hidden gem in the Eastern Algarve. As a surf instructor, seeking out new adventures is second nature to me. Upon arrival, the warm welcome from the staff made us feel like we were visiting a long-lost Portuguese family. The genuine hospitality of this 3-star farm stay truly re-created a homely atmosphere, which we greatly appreciated as a family.Our days were filled with exciting water adventures nearby - from kayaking to windsurfing - perfect for keeping the kids entertained and active. The boat tours allowed us to explore the stunning coastline and discover hidden coves, creating treasured memories that will last a lifetime.The rooms were comfortably furnished, offering a peaceful retreat after a day of exploration. The family-friendly amenities, such as spacious accommodations, added to the overall experience. The location, just outside Tavira, provided a perfect balance of tranquility and convenience - ideal for families looking to relax and unwind.Monte do Alamo exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to returning to this special place that felt like a home away from home.
